Despite the cold, Julia was super excited about going to the park. So, Julia, Daddy, and Mama decided to take a walk to the park. One the way she reviewed her "safety rules" by looking for cars before crossing the street, use the crosswalk, and holding Mama and Da Da's hands. Needless to say even a short walk is quite an adventure. Playing with the rocks is probably her favorite thing to do while at the park. Go figure? But, when you put the rocks on the slide with her, you get endless amounts of fun. Then when we came back we warmed up with some hot chocolate. Yummy in the tummy!

We're Baaack!!!
I know it has been forever, and I mean FOREVER! We are doing well and Julia is growing like crazy. She is no longer a baby, and is now a little girl. Her favorite things now include, helping Daddy feed our new fish, painting, and reading books, especially Dr. Suess. Julia also loves to play with rocks, Howdy, Dolly, playdough, her tricycle, and her best friend...COOPER! To all our loyal fans, thank you for believing in us....(Kim and Shannon....this one's for you!)

Alec's Birthday Party

While celebrating Alec's birthday party Julia went for a walk with her Daddy and her Mommy. Here she is racing through the displays, after she had already ate cake. With the cake she drank juice, which she doesn't usually get. I think this explained her surge of energy half way through the party. Mama and Daddy could barely keep up.

Mama and

Day at the Museum

At the museum, Julia saw lots of cool things. For instance, here she is petting her new friend, Spike. Although Spike is a bearded dragon, he a Julia seemed to hit it off pretty well, especially when she scratched those hard to reach places, like his tale.
The other reptile that was brought out for the kids to touch was a cornsnake named Slither.
I wish we had a picture to share, but Slither was very energetic and felt like crawling around on the table with us. This REALLY, made Daddy a tad bit nervous and forgot to take the picture :)

Here is Daddy after Slither went back to his cage.
The party was so much fun and Julia loved running around through the museum. She looked at the dinasours and the stuffed animals that were on display. One thing that she really liked was the brown bear that was there. I think it reminded her of "Brown Bear, Brown Bear."
"I Don't Need No Rocking Chair" (Singing Voice)

Or, maybe I do. Our outdoor baby seems to have finally discovered that those big green things, known to us adults as rocking chairs, can actually do something. We climb on them, rock them, push them, try to stand in them (but Mom is a party pooper and will not let me) and sit on them. They are too much fun.
However, the down side to this is that Julia's teacher at daycare wanted to know if she had been climbing in chairs at home, because she had been trying to climb in the daycare rocking chair. Ooops! Bad Mommy! I guess I need to plan ahead a little better.
What do you think about the pig tails today? Pretty cute huh? She is of course too preoccupied with watching the puppies play chase. Go Howdy! Go Dolly!

What is Yellow and Has Eight Legs?

If you answered Julia, then you would be suprisingly correct. Have you ever seen such a happy octopus? Well, now you have. Julia has been extra silly these past few days and has felt like playing with the face book that Cooper bought her. Which reminds me, Julia wanted to send a shout out to Cooper,"Thanks Coop!"

Lately, one her new favorite things to do around the house is play on the couch! Back and forth, back and forth. . . But the one thing that makes playing on the couch even more fun is playing on the couch with Dolly. "DOLLY!"

"Julia, you are not being a very good pillow." Julia really loves Dolly and is always wasting her precious kisses on Dolly. Mom and Dad are sooooo jealous. :(
Mama, did you say "CHEESE?"
